This monogram title technique will look great as an enhancement on your pages. Better yet, they look great by themselves as a chapter starter, on the back of an ornament, on a mug. The list goes on and on. Objective: Use Shapes, Text Shapes, Text Paths and Strokes to create a decorative title.

Video Notes:

- - Insert> Shape> Ellipse
    - Make the fill transparent
    - Select a Simple or Compound Stroke and format as desired
    - Click Create
  - Right click the ellipse> Text> Format> Position text on path
    - Click Repeat Text To Fill
    - Click on More Options and adjust the relief and spacing as necessary
    - Click OK
  - Click to open the text box
    - Go to the end of the text and add a space
    - Click on Insert Symbol, choose a dingbat font, select an image
    - Add another space
    - Click OK
    - Adjust the size of your circle, and/or format the font size of your text so that the words fit properly in your text path.
  - Insert> Text> Shape
    - Type a letter for your monogram
    - Format, size and position the Text Shape so that it fills the Text Path
    - Click Create
  - Insert> Text> Shape
    - Type a phrase
    - Format, size and position the Text Shape so that it goes across the Text Path and Monogram
    - Click Create
  - Optional:
    - Select the Text Shape phrase, go to Insert> Outliner
    - Fill the Stroke of the Outliner shape with a contrasting color
    - Use the elements panel to position the Outliner shape beneath the Text Shape phrase
  - Group and/or Flatten the Text Path and Text Shapes together.
