This title technique uses text shapes along with the Wand and Paint tools to create a cleverly cut out shadow for stylish titles on your pages.
### Video Notes:

Insert a text shape
- Remove stroke and click create
- Right click> Flatten the text shape
Copy the text shape and paste it twice
- Use the Arrange tools and center the text shapes horizontally and vertically
Fill each of the three text shapes with a contrasting color
Hold down the shift key and select the top two text shapes on the elements panel.
- Use your arrow keys to shift the layers up and to the right
- Deselect the text shapes
Select the top text shape layer
- Use your arrow keys to shift the layers up and to the right
- Deselect the text shapes.
Hold down the shift key and select the bottom two text shapes on the elements panel.
- Right Click>Flatten the two layers together
- Go to the Cut Ribbon>Wand, selection scope="All"
- Click in the area of text that was originally the middle layer and "Select"
- Go to the Cut Ribbon> Cut/Copy >Keep unselected area>Cut
- Fill the remaining cut out text with paper, gradient or color
Select the top layer and fill
- Fill with paper, gradient, or color, OR
- Touch Up>Paint, select a color and paint over letters as desired
  - Change the color as often as you'd like
  - Make sure "Ignore element opacity setting" is unchecked
Group both sections of text together
Resize and postion as desired.
