In this video tidbit, you'll learn the ease of creating shapes using the cutting tools with the final look of fun shaped photos!

1. 1. Create a shape: Insert>Shape>Rectangle.
    1. Size rectangle to 7"W and 12" H.
    2. Fill color does not matter.
    3. Remove stroke.
    4. Click Create.
  2. Move rectangle to fit against the left side of your page using the green alignment lines.(x=0 and y=0 in the QAT)
    1. Using the side tab rulers, add a tab line at the 4" and the 8" mark.
    2. Click on the rectangle, go to Cut> Straight Cutter> Shaped Edge. Flatten as needed.
    3. Change shape to the wave edge found in the Built In Kits.
    4. Select shape.
    5. Spread out the edges to reveal the wave edge.
    6. Rotate the wave edge for a 90 degree horizontal cut.
    7. Move cut edge so that the top of the wave rests on the 4" tab line.
    8. Set aspect ratio at 40 and spacing at 0.3.
    9. Set the width at 0.19.
    10. Keep both areas and choose cut.
  3. Click on the large rectangle in the element panel and choose Cut>Straight>Shaped Edge.
    1. Move cutting line to the 8"tab line. Choose to keep both areas and click Cut.
  4. Raise the bottom of the top rectangle by pushing up the small box in the center to leave a tiny space between the photos.
  5. Lower the top of the bottom rectangle by pulling down to shorten the same amount of space as the top photograph.
  6. Remove the tabs on the side.
  7. Click on top rectangle, go to Insert>Outliner Tool.
    1. On the QAT select None for the stroke.
    2. Repeat #7 for other two rectangles.
  8. Right click on top rectangle> Fill> Convert to photo drop point - repeat for next 2 rectangles.
  9. Delete the original filled rectangles. Hold down shift key, click on each one and then choose delete.
  10. Complete your page:
    1. Fill empty shaped photo frames with photos.
    2. Add background paper, journaling and embellishments to page.
    3. Complete your page by adding shadows.
