The word overlap technique is a simple way to spruce up the titles of your pages. In this video, we will show you how easy it is to create decorative text cut outs from your live photo holders.Note: You can use any script font for this technique. Script fonts that connect yield the best results. The font shown in this video is I Love Glitter. This font can be found on Dafont.com. The I Love Glitter font contains glyphs which are graphic symbols. Instructions on using the font and its glyphs is provided by the font designer and will be included with your font download. ### Video Notes:

Content panel>Shapes> Create this shape
- Set the stroke to none
- Click Create
Insert> Text
- Size and position text box over the area you desire the cut out to be
- Type text using a script font that connects
- Set the size of the text to cover the desired area
- Click Create
Keep the text selected and go to Insert> Outliner
- Use the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) to increase the size of the stroke to desired size of cutout.
- Make sure the stroke color is in contrast to the color of the shape
- Right click the shape, Stroke> Format
  - Change the joints to Round
  - Click Ok
Select both the Outliner Shape and the Shape, right click > Flatten
Select the live text box, right click > Flatten
- Note: You are not flattening the live text box to the shape
Select the Shape > Cut Ribbon> Wand
- Set selection scope to all
- Click in the area of the stroke
- Select
- Go to Cut> Cut/Copy> Cut
Keeping the shape selected, go to Insert> Outliner
- If areas of the new outliner shape are distorted, right click it> Shape> Edit shape to adjust distored areas
  - Click OK
- Right Click> Fill> Convert to photo drop point
- Delete the original shape.
Fill with photo
Select both cutout photo and text, right click > Grouping> Group
- Resize and position
- Ungroup
