Third stop: Sunset Boulevard/Sunset Strip
Here are some fun facts about Sunset Boulevard:
- Sunset Boulevard is one of the most important streets in Los Angeles. It is a 22-mile artery that runs through the heart of the Greater Los Angeles Area and crosses iconic attractions and famous neighborhoods.
- Sunset Boulevard passes almost every major tourist attraction in Los Angeles.
- Sunset Strip is the most famous section of Sunset Boulevard as it is the heart of West Hollywood's social life.
- The first to pay homage to this street was Billy Wilder in 1950 with his famous film Sunset Boulevard, which inspired Andrew Lloyd Webber, composer of the music of great classics of Broadway, to write a musical with the same title.
- Sunset Boulevard runs along the southern boundary of this neighborhood, known worldwide as "the hill," where famous people reside. Here you can go in search of elusive celebrities on a tour of the mansions.
- The Sunset Strip covers a 1.5-mile section of the famous Sunset Boulevard.
- The Sunset Tower Hotel is the first skyscraper built on the Sunset Strip (13 floors) and is a fine example of Modern Art Deco Streamline architecture. In the ’30s, it became a destination for almost all Hollywood stars, including John Wayne, who is said to have kept a cow on his balcony so he could always have good fresh milk.
- The Comedy Store is on Sunset Strip and is one of the most important comedy clubs in America where comedians such as Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, Eddie Murphy, Michael Keaton, David Letterman, and many others have performed.

Hollywood Spreadsheet
In our week 2 distribution we gave you our Hollywood Crop Spreadsheet to use, and we reviewed it briefly during our week 2 webinar. Please visit those posts to see more details.
This week we have updated the week 3 tab. If you downloaded the spreadsheet last week, you can copy the items from the week 3 tab and paste to the week 3 tab and the full event tab on your copy of the spreadsheet to make it up to date. If you are downloading the spreadsheet for the first time, it will be completely up to date.

Hollywood Crop Extras
We have created some pretty cool extras for you and made them available at just the right time. In order to make sure you are fully prepared for the crop, we have a few assignments for you. Complete the mandatory assignments and you will earn a badge.
Mandatory Activities:
- Continue reviewing the Getting Started Guide if you have not done so in the past year.
