HWC Video Tidbit: Facebook Cover Image Project
You will learn how to create a custom size project and page template in Artisan specifically sized to fit Facebook’s Profile Cover Image. With this custom template, you will be able to create personalized pages to save as JPEGs and use as your Facebook Profile Cover Image.
Objective: Create a custom sized project and template to fit Facebook’s Profile Cover Image.
Video Notes:
Go to the Welcome tab and select Create a new project.
- Select New custom size.
- Width: 11.35
- Height: 4.2
- Click Save.
Name the custom size project and save.
- Select Blank, adding photos is optional.
- Name your project and click Create.
Build the template.
- 1st ellipse: Insert > Content > Shape > Ellipse.
- Size: 2 x 2
- Stroke: 5 pt
- Position shape: x: 4.675 y: 2.458
- 2nd ellipse: Insert > Content > Shape > Ellipse.
- Size: 3.175 x 3.175
- Stroke: 5 pt
- Position shape: x: 2.198 y: 2.299
Add Tabs.
- Vertical ruler: the 1st tab is set between the edge and 4; the 2nd tab is set between 0.25 and 0.
- Horizontal ruler: the 1st tab is set at 0.25; the 2nd tab is set between 7.25 and 7.5
Save your page; this becomes the base template.
Duplicate this page to start working on your new Profile Cover Image.
When page is complete, hide ellipses and remove all tabs. Save page as JPEG to your computer.
JPEG is ready to upload to your Facebook Profile Cover Image.
