FOREVER Digitization Connection - Overages

Hello and welcome to this week's edition of the FOREVER Digitization Connection! Today, I would like to talk with you all about overages.

In the context for FOREVER Digitization, overages refer to any charges that exceed your box or item credit, as well as other discounts applied to your digitization order. Let me guide you through calculating overages.

The initial step involves our team inventorying all the items you sent in. We examine your items and calculate the digitization cost for each one. This process includes adding any cleaning or repair fees necessary for items that, while not in their best condition, can still be digitized with care. At this stage, we also identify any items that cannot be digitized, marking them as “DO NOT PRODUCE” to ensure these items are tracked but do not add any cost to your order. After determining the cost of each item and all associated fees, we apply your box or item credit and any applicable discounts to your order. The remaining balance after these deductions constitutes your overages.

Once we have calculated any overages (if applicable), you will receive an invoice detailing the items we inventoried, and any additional fees applied. This invoice will also list any discounts that have been applied to your total. If you notice any discrepancies while reviewing your invoice, please contact Client Care at 1-888-FOREVER or support@forever.com immediately before paying your overages. After confirming that everything on your invoice is correct, you may proceed with the payment. Once the overages are paid, we cannot make any further changes to your order.

There are two methods to locate and pay your overages. The first method involves finding the email titled "Your FOREVER Box (FDC# XXXXX) has been inventoried and extra items are awaiting payment." This email contains a link that will direct you to your shopping cart on FOREVER.com. From there, simply navigate to the Digitization tab and proceed to checkout. Please ensure you are signed in to your FOREVER account on your device for this method to work.

The second method involves manually navigating to FOREVER.com. Once logged in, click on the shopping cart icon in the top, right corner and navigate to the Digitization tab. As with the previous method, proceed to checkout. With either method you will have the opportunity to apply any gift certificates, coupons, or club dollars you wish to use.

Upon successfully paying your overages, your digitization order will be moved to the production queue!
