As a busy mom of teenagers, life often feels like a whirlwind. Just a month ago, we sent our son off to college, and while I’m proud of him, I can’t help but wish FOREVER® Facial Recognition had launched six months earlier!

With work, family & friends, and community events to balance, staying on top of my FOREVER account was a struggle, especially during his senior year. If I could have used facial recognition, sorting through nearly two decades of photos would have been a breeze—easily finding everything from his chubby-cheeked toddler days to high school swimming triumphs. Finding the best images for his senior photo book and preparing prints for his graduation party would have saved me so much stress!

But all is not lost. I still have over two years with my daughter at home, and this afternoon I organized her memories with our newly launched facial recognition technology in no time. After facial recognition was done processing (it can initially take up to a few hours for large accounts), all I had to do was find her face in the People view and add her name! Her toddler photos showed as another unnamed person, but with a simple right-click I was able to merge those younger days with her more recent photos. I’m excited about making her senior year slideshow and print projects much easier.

There are several ways to prepare a print order and slideshow to celebrate a family member. I've found the easiest way is from the People view where I select all the ones I want to use, click Organize, then Add to Album. After I name that album, I find it in the Album view, then all I have to do is click the ••• in the top menu to view the slideshow.

For photo prints, I navigate to the FOREVER home page, select Create & Print, then Photo Prints. I then choose the same album and select all the photos I want to print. It's easy to then add them to the cart and check out.

To prepare for a photo book that features a few of the best images, I like to navigate to that same album and select the ones to feature, click Organize, then Add to Favorites. I can either select Print from the left menu or navigate to the home page and select Create & Print then the photo book of choice. It's simple to build my book in the design editor by choosing the ones I've already favorited in the album.

With one teenager off to college, life feels a bit less busy, and our house feels a bit more clean. I’m ready to dive into FOREVER's powerful new features. I’ll be well-equipped to capture and cherish every moment of my daughter’s remaining high school journey. Being a busy mom means embracing the chaos of family life, and with FOREVER, I can preserve our family’s legacy, one organized memory at a time.
