FOREVER Digitization Connection - Frequently Asked Questions

Hello and welcome to this week’s FOREVER Digitization Connection! With so many opportunities with FOREVER, there are bound to be questions or misunderstandings. Here are a few common items that come across my desk at the FOREVER Digitization Facility.

Question #1: When I ordered my FOREVER Digitization Box, it was sent to a PO Box. Why is a street address needed to return my memories to me after digitization?
Answer: We ship our empty FOREVER Digitization Boxes via FedEx Economy. This type of shipping will start with FedEx picking your box up from our Digitization Facility, but while en route, the box may be turned over to USPS for delivery. Therefore, they are able to deliver it to a PO Box. Once your precious memories are added to your FOREVER Digitization Box for return shipment, we ship it with FedEx to track its movement. After your memories have been digitized, they can only be delivered to a street address, or a FedEx drop-off site such as Walgreens or Dollar General.

Question #2: I already sent my box in, but I didn’t have enough items to use all the box credit. Can I save the unused credit for another order?
Answer: Unfortunately, we are not able to offer this at this time. Any unused credit will be forfeited. We offer 2 Item, 10 Item, and 20 Item Digitization Boxes, and we encourage clients to fill their box with at least the number of items you chose at checkout: 2, 10, or 20 items.

Question #3: I lost my flash drive that was created by FOREVER two years ago, and I do not have FOREVER Storage. Can I get my flash drive replaced?
Answer: We can only guarantee that your files will be stored on our servers for 180 days after digitization. If it has been longer than that, you can reach out to our Client Care Team, and we can see if we may still be able to access them. It is always a good idea to back up your files and use FOREVER Storage to be safe from USB mishaps or computer crashes.

Question #4: I purchased a Digitization Box, but I am gifting it to my sister. Do I need to do anything extra?
Answer: When gifting a Digitization Box, please be sure a FOREVER account has been created for your recipient. Please be sure to include all their information for their account (including their email address) on the enclosed form.
