FOREVER®, the leading online platform for family memory keeping is delighted to announce its 9th year as a major sponsor of RootsTech, a convention held every year in Salt Lake City, Utah and hosted by Family Search International.
RootsTech is the largest convention of people and companies focused on the technology of family history and memory keeping. The event, held March 6th through 8th, 2025, offers a rich schedule of informative keynote speakers, entertainment, workshops, and innovative technology demonstrations.

RootsTech 2024 was a whirlwind of excitement, connection, and memories. From stunning mountain views to busy booth days, we had a blast! Here’s a peek behind the curtain at some of our favorite moments from the event:
1. Flying Over the Mountains
First things first—wow. The views of Salt Lake City’s cool, snow-capped mountains from the plane were absolutely breathtaking. It’s the kind of welcome that sets the tone for an incredible event.
2. Coffee: The Lifeblood of Convention Days
With a long day ahead of us, we couldn’t resist grabbing a cup of coffee to keep our energy up. Let's be honest—coffee is the true MVP of any convention.
3. Setting Up the FOREVER Booth
The calm before the storm: Getting our booth and display ready for the crowds was a team effort. A little prep, a lot of excitement, and a dash of nerves—everything was coming together!
4. Ready to Help
And… we’re live! Standing by, ready to answer questions and share everything we love about FOREVER with anyone who stopped by. The energy at RootsTech was contagious!
5. Meeting New Clients
One of the best parts of any convention? Meeting new people who are as passionate about family history and memory preservation as we are. It’s always a pleasure connecting with new clients.
6. Spotting FOREVER Ambassadors
It wasn’t just about meeting new clients—we were lucky enough to find several FOREVER Ambassadors attending the event. It’s always so nice to reconnect with them and hear their stories.
7. Sneaky Sandwich Break
When it gets busy, you have to get creative. To keep our energy up, we snuck away for a quick sandwich, in the middle of the FOREVER booth—hiding in plain sight!
8. Speaking About FOREVER
It’s always a highlight getting to share the incredible products and services FOREVER offers. Talking about how we help families preserve their memories is such a rewarding part of the convention experience.
9. Chips & Salsa Fuel-Up
After a long day, it was time to recharge with some chips and salsa. There’s nothing like a good meal and laughs with the FOREVER team to keep you going during the busy convention days.
10. Having Fun in the City
Of course, we didn’t work 24/7! We took a little time to explore Salt Lake City. From great food to local sights, the city didn’t disappoint.
11. Packing Up the Booth
All good things must come to an end, and that includes the convention. Packing up the booth is always bittersweet—excited for the next year, but a little sad to say goodbye.
12. Snow, Snow & More Snow
And finally—snow! For the Florida girl on our team, the unexpected snow was both magical and challenging. But we took it in stride (with a few extra layers) and embraced the winter wonderland.
RootsTech 2024 was filled with moments of connection, discovery, and a few sneaky snack breaks along the way. We can't wait to do it all again this year—hopefully with a little less snow for our Florida friend!
