How FOREVER Brought Music to Life in Print

By Ann Gulledge

My client, Norman, produced a documentary about the 1899 Sewanee Tigers football team. During their 12-0 season, the Tigers went on a 2,500-mile train ride and played 5 games in 6 days, beating Texas, Texas A&M, Tulane, LSU, and Ole Miss. It’s an incredible story that would captivate anyone who loves football. The documentary, titled Unrivaled, is available for viewing on most public broadcasting websites.

When I was telling Norman about FOREVER, I mentioned the ability to use QR codes, and his face lit up! At the time, I didn't realize he was writing a book to accompany his documentary. Norman asked if we could include a link to the musical score written for the documentary in the book. Why yes, we can!

Now that the book has been published, it includes two FOREVER QR codes that allow readers to access the musical score and a rendition of "The Tiger" - a period piece of music. I’m thrilled to have played a small part in making this happen!

Pictured are the two uses of FOREVER QR codes in Norman's book: 1. The QR code pictured on the left provides access to the musical score of the documentary, and 2. The QR code pictured on the right links to a rendition of "The Tiger."
